Much of the Continent and Mediterranean Sea will be showery with broken clouds. Quite sunny further east, which will migrate into Scandinavia.
Monday Rain in northern Spain today though fair with broken cloud to the south and east. Sunnier in Italy with scattered clouds. Showers, some heavy, will fall on Greece and western Turkey most of the day. A slight push north into Bulgaria but not much further. Showers, some heavy through France and southern Germany with longer spells of rain in central areas. Several waves of rain and heavy showers in the Low Countries. Plentiful sunshine from Poland south through Czechia, Austria, and Slovenia and eastward, though clouds will encroach the westernmost parts by the afternoon. Switzerland to see heavy rains, snow in the Alps. Breezy along the North Sea coast. Denmark and southern Sweden to see showers and occasional brief sun spells. Heavy snow across much of Norway and central Sweden, some reaching Finland on a steady breeze. Widespread cloud in central Finland through the north Baltics.
Tuesday Mostly sunny in Spain and Portugal with clouds and showers spilling in from the north in the afternoon. Broken cloud across much of the Mediterranean with showers falling on the Islands, Italy, and eastward in southern Greece and southern Turkey. Mostly cloudy across west and central Europe for much of the day. Light rain across the northern plains and prolonged snow over the Alps. Dry and sunny further east in Belarus, Ukraine, and Romania. The Baltic countries remaining cloudy and rainy, snow in Estonia. The Balkan countries will see morning sun, though cloud is likely to take over throughout the day. Largely dry north of Greece. High pressure in the north brings a cold morning with patchy clouds to the British Isles. The high pressure ridge will move east through the day, behind which heavier rain reaches the Isles and western France in the later afternoon. The ridge will reach Scandinavia breaking up cloud for a sunny afternoon.
